Kennedy Welding was established in Brisbane in 1951, in a small workshop in Kelvin Grove, and moved to its current premises in Coorparoo in 1989. Father and son team Wayne and Ty Kennedy have worked together in the business for over 25 years.

Today, Ty Kennedy owns the business, and manages a team with over 150 years of combined experience, and believes that quality service to our customers sets Kennedy Welding apart from the rest.

Kennedy Welding specialises in all welding services, including Arc Welding, Mig Welding and Tig Welding and has the ability to tailor fabrication services to your specifications, regardless of the industry. In addition to fabrication and welding, Kennedy Welding also offers custom design and engineering solutions, plus a large range of complementary services including onsite welding, powder coating, hot-dip galvanizing, shop priming, guillotining of the plate and sheet metal, laser cutting and general welding and repairs.

Coupled with the versatility and flexibility to cater for all size jobs – No job too big or small – Kennedy Welding delivers on attention to detail and is proud of the local service focus and national delivery capability grown over the years.
